Expanding the IGAD CoP in South Caucasus Region – Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan

What:

Expanding the Improving Global Agricultural Data Community of Practice (IGAD CoP) in South Caucasus Region – Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. Institute TECHINFORM will organize an online event together with the IGAD co-chairs to present RDA, its vision and mission, how to get involved, and IGAD and how to benefit from a CoP that currently includes more than 150 organizations worldwide.

Marina Razmadze, Deputy Director and Researcher at the Central Institute for Scientific and Technical Information – TECHINFORMI

Biography:

Dr. Marina Razmadze is a researcher from the Institute for Scientific and Technical Information -TECHINFORMI of the Georgian Technical University. She is currently working as a Deputy Director and Researcher at the Central Institute for Scientific and Technical Information – TECHINFORMI. She has a PhD degree in Computer Science and has more than 15 years of hands-on experience in administrative and research roles in Information Technology and Systems (IT&S), Data Research, Data Management, and Information Analysis fields from state and private educational institutions and organizations locally and internationally.

Marina has a strong record of successful coordination and delivery of scientific projects (Horizon2020, Rustaveli National Foundation, FAO, DAAD) as well as experience of delivering international workshops, lecture courses for MA and PhD students in the field of Computer Science and Data Analysis. She is the co-author of one monographic work and several scientific and technical articles published in local and international journals. Currently she holds an RDA grant “Expanding the IGAD CoP in South Caucasus Region – Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan”.
